Timer works correctly, it runs when the mixer is running.  Or switch it “Hold” and it will stay on until manually turned off.

Someone made a lid for this out of metal, it is very well made but does have a few small areas that it does not seal completely – see pictures

The Hobart P660 is a heavy duty mixer available as a single speed mixer. Standard equipment on the P660 includes a #12 attachment hub and a 15 minute timer.
A manual bowl lift is standard on P660 mixers.
